Meet Dr. Kimberley N. Booker of Young Ladies of Elegance in Northeast
Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Kimberley N. Booker.
Dr. Booker, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Young Ladies of Elegance was started in September 2004 at Eisenhower 9th Grade School after seeing many young ladies needing positive mentors and role models.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Many parents of color do not invest enough in leadership programs or models on how to be committed.

God inspired the young Ladies of Elegance. It is my charge and my honor to empower young ladies. I am so passionate about this organization, and I treat all members like they are my daughters, and I am their mom.
